In the pulsating rhythm of midnight house parties, the echoing corridors of high school, and the intimate confines of their bedrooms, today's teenagers find themselves ensnared in a relentless web of pressure. Social dynamics, family expectations, the academic grind – each imposing its own toll.

But what happens when these pressures collide in a singular moment, demanding a choice that could alter lives irrevocably? One choice, one moment, and nine months later, a new life emerges – born not of adults, but of children themselves. "Cradle," an evocative tale inspired by true stories, unfurls the journeys of Chanté, Hector, Clara, and others as they confront challenges that defy the imagination of their tender years. Unforeseen pregnancies, shattered dreams, lives ravaged by the onslaught of drugs, violence, and illness. "Cradle" fearlessly lays bare the reality of everyday life within and beyond high school walls – the genuine struggles, agonies, and situations that teenagers grapple with.

Amidst it all, the heartbeat of new lives that emerge from these tumultuous circumstances. Dramatized with raw brilliance by the students who confront these challenges daily, "Cradle" offers an unfiltered lens into the tumultuous realities faced by the youth in our communities. Crafted from a screenplay and soundtrack penned, produced, and performed by the students of Told By Us Productions, the non-profit founded by Schenectady's visionary film director, Prince Sprauve, "Cradle" weaves together their compelling stories – in their own words, from their own perspectives. Prepare for an emotional rollercoaster as "Cradle" takes you on a poignant journey through the uncharted territories of teenage struggles and triumphs.
